We’ve talked about the vagus nerve, about what it means to feel safe in your own body, about why burnout isn’t a scheduling problem. It’s a regulation problem. This post is a continuation of that conversation, going deeper into the how. The actual practices. The menu. Because knowing your nervous system is dysregulated is one thing. I spent years doing all the things. Therapy. Hypnosis. Plant medicine. Journaling stacks that could fill a bookshelf. I read the books. I said the affirmations. I did the deep inner work from the neck up, and I was still stuck.

You can do all the mindset work in the world but if your nervous system is still running the old operating system, you’ll keep hitting the same wall.

From Neck-Up Healing to Full-Body Safety
Nervous system regulation isn’t about thinking your way into calm. It’s about signaling safety to your body, directly, physically, through practices that bypass the brain’s anxiety loop and go straight to the source.
When I finally started working with my body instead of trying to override it, everything shifted. Not because I found one magic fix. Because I built a menu, a rotation of small, free, daily practices I could reach for depending on what the moment needed.

EFT / Tapping: the practice I’ve used for over 12 years to interrupt guilt and overwhelm in real time
